Dr. John Supance graduated from Ohio State University School of Medicine. He completed two years of training in General Surgery and a residency program in Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Cincinnati. While at the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Supance received the Alter Peerless Award for excellence as Chief Resident. Dr. Supance then spent the next year at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in a Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship training program, followed by two years of academic teaching at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine as a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, where he was the recipient of the Seymour Cohen Award for scientific research in Pediatric Otolaryngology.

Dr. Supance is board certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, a Charter Member of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology, a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has served as Chief of Otolaryngology, Chief of Surgery, member-at-large on the Medical Staff Executive Committee, Chief of Staff-elect and Chief of Staff at Children's Hospital of Orange County at Mission Hospital. Dr. Supance has been selected every year as a California "Super Doctor" and has earned the “America’s Top Doctors” honor by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. Since 2004.

Dr. Bredenkamp received his Medical Degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. He then went on to complete a six year residency in the Department of Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine. Dr. Bredenkamp's surgical training included two years of General Surgery and four years of Head and Neck specialty surgery.  He also spent one year in basic research studying the immunology of cancer.

Dr. Bredenkamp is board certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is the author of over twenty scientific papers and has written five book chapters. Dr. Bredenkamp is a contributing author to MedicineNet.Com and chief editor of FocusOnHearing.Com . Dr. Jakobsen received his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. He spent one year as a Howard Hughes Research Scholar in the laboratory of Steven Rosenberg, M.D. at the Surgery Branch of the National Cancer Institute, studying both immunology and immunotherapy options for the treatment of melanoma. Dr. Jakobsen went on to complete a six year residency in the Department of Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine. Dr. Jakobsen's surgical training included one-and-a-half years of general surgery and four-and-a-half years of head and neck specialty surgery. He also spent one year in basic research studying voice and voice disorders along with the feasibility of laryngeal transplantation. Dr. Jakobsen is board certified in Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has written numerous scientific publications relating to laryngology and the study of immunology and immunotherapy of cancer.

Dr. Cho is board certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has received his undergraduate degree in Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.), where he was admitted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society and worked with Nobel Laureate, Dr. Tonegawa. He then obtained his Medical Degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, along with the Dean's prize in Research. This was in recognition for his work on growth factors in wound healing as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellow. Dr. Cho then went on to complete a five year residency at UCSF. He has several publications on wound healing, cholesterol granulomas of the ear, and reconstructive techniques in facial plastic surgery. He is recognized as a "Physician of Excellence" by the Orange County Medical Association in the specialty of Head and Neck Oncology.

His professional interests include ear surgery, advanced sinus surgery, head and neck cancer, pediatric otolaryngology, and facial reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Wells received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of California, Irvine, where he was a President's Undergraduate Scholar in neurobiology. He then received his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1990. Dr. Wells went on to complete a five year residency in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the St. Louis University Medical Center. He has been board certified since 1996, through the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Wells' has served as Chief of Surgery, Treasurer/Secretary of the Medical Staff, and Vice-Chief of the Medical Staff at Saddleback Medical Center, San Clemente. Dr. Wells has been the Chief of Otolaryngology at Mission Hospital since 2014. He was selected by the Orange County Medical Association as a "Physician of Excellence" in 2014. Dr. Wells earned 2016 “America’s Top Doctors” honor by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.

Dr. Crockett completed his residency at the University of Southern California Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. He then completed a Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Crockett returned to California and became an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine (USC University Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles), and was one of the “Doctors of USC”, from 1987 to 2008, when he joined the practice at Head and Neck Associates. Dr. Crockett has been voted one of Castle-Connolly’s “America’s Top Doctors” and “America’s Top Doctors for Cancer”. He is recognized as a "Physician of Excellence" by the Orange County Medical Association in the specialty of Head and Neck Oncology and has been one of California’s “Super Doctors” since 2000.

His professional interests include pediatric otolaryngology/pediatric head and neck tumors, adult head and neck cancer and thyroid/parathyroid surgery, pediatric/adult airway reconstruction, pediatric/adult sinus surgery as well as general otolaryngology.

Dr. Crockett is active in Boy Scouting (Silver Beaver and Orange County Council Man of Character), and his hobbies include backpacking and mountaineering, rock climbing (getting a little too old for this one), high power rocketry and competitive ballroom dancing.

Prior to joining HNA, Dr. Mundi was on staff at Beth Israel Medical Center and at the NYEEI in Manhattan, NYC. After seven years as faculty at UC Davis, UCLA recruited Dr. Luu to perform similar surgeries, in which he was recognized as the “Best Full-Time Faculty Member” for two consecutive years (2016 & 2017).

Dr. Balaker is board certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and a subspecialist in Otology – Neurotology. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at UCLA. Dr. Balaker then completed a two-year subspecialty Fellowship in Otology/Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery at the California Ear Institute in Palo Alto, California.

Dr. Balaker is caring for adult and pediatric patients, specifically those with ear disorders, hearing loss, vertigo and dizziness, ear and skull base tumors, sinusitis and eustachian tube disorders. Additionally, she is experienced in minimally invasive surgery for the ears and sinuses, including endoscopic transcanal ear surgery, surfer’s ear surgery, balloon sinuplasty, and endoscopic balloon dilation of the eustachian tube. Dr. Balaker also performs surgery for hearing restoration, including laser stapedotomy for otosclerosis and cochlear implantation for profound hearing loss.

Following his fellowship, he was recruited to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, California in order to develop and direct the Hoag Voice and Swallowing Center. Dr. Floyd Buen received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College with high honors. A Southern California native, he returned and continued to pursue basic science research studying traumatic brain injury at UCLA. He then received his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. While there, he was awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Research Fellowship for work on novel stem cell applications. This was followed by a residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at UCLA Medical Center, where he was awarded the prestigious Teaching Award as a chief resident. His most recent research endeavors span a versatile range, including survivorship among head and neck cancer patients, quality improvement of squamous cell carcinoma treatments, and therapeutic communication techniques.

Dr. Buen's professional interests include head and neck oncology, sinus disorders and allergy, thyroid/parathyroid surgery, salivary gland surgery, and general adult and pediatric otolaryngology.

Dr. Buen enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, running, biking, swimming, traveling, and playing piano. His go-to tracks in the operating room range from Chopin to 90’s R&B.

Dr. Sunil Saini is a board-certified allergist and immunologist for both adults and children. He specializes in treating asthma, hay fever, sinusitis, recurrent bronchitis, food allergies, eczema, and other challenging allergic conditions.

Originally from Ohio, Dr. Saini graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1992. At Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Saini completed a three-year residency program in Pediatrics. He then pursued an Allergy-Immunology fellowship at Northwestern University, Chicago, where he received training from world renowned experts in both adult and pediatric allergy. In 1998, Dr. Saini completed an additional fellowship in Clinical Laboratory Immunology at the University of California, Irvine.
